Need to take a temporary break from your subscription? No problem! You can pause your subscription for 1, 2, or 3 months. It's a great alternative to canceling if you just need some time off.
Please note: Pausing your subscription takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle. During the pause period, you'll still have access to all free content on the site and app — you just won't have paid access. Once the pause ends, you'll be charged for renewal and your paid access will resume.
Pausing is currently only available on the website. It's not available in the mobile app.
On the Website
- Sign in to the website and navigate to My Account ▸ Subscription Settings.
- Select the Pause Subscription button next to the subscription you'd like to pause.
- Choose how long you'd like to pause — 1, 2, or 3 months.
- Confirm your pause on the following popup.
That's it! Your renewal date will automatically be pushed back by the length of your pause.
A Few Things to Keep in Mind
- Pausing is only available for subscriptions paid by credit card.
- You can only pause if your renewal date is less than 3 months away.
- You can resume your subscription at any time from your Dashboard — no need to wait out the full pause period.
- You'll receive a reminder email 4 days before your subscription resumes, and another one on the day it kicks back in.
