What is My Teacher?
My Teacher is a messaging service that gives you access to a personal teacher and language coach. This service, which is part of our Premium PLUS subscription, makes it easy to get additional language tips, context, and opportunities to practice. The teacher that My Teacher connects you with will also be in charge of assessing your progress and helping you find the learning material most appropriate for your level and interests.
What Does My Teacher Do?
With My Teacher, you can get answers to any questions you might have about language, culture, and more. Your teacher is also on hand to recommend content, send you appropriate practice assignments, and provide grading and feedback on weightier tests like the Language Portfolio and Core Assessments.
My Teacher is also a great place to get feedback and corrections on pronunciation and writing. Simply send your teacher an audio file with a spoken sample or a piece of writing you’ve been working on, and your teacher will help you identify the key areas you need to work on to improve it.
What Can’t My Teacher Do?
While your teacher will be happy to give you feedback on writing and speaking, Premium PLUS is not a proofreading service. We’re unable to provide comprehensive corrections on everything you submit.
Also, while you may develop a very good relationship with your teacher, he or she won’t be able to connect with you on social media or other platforms outside of the Innovative Language Learning ecosystem.
Your teacher will also not be able to arrange live calls with you on Slack, Zoom, or any other video or audio conferencing platform. All interaction will need to take place inside the messaging platform or by emailing one of our customer support teams.
How Often Can I Expect a Response from My Teacher?
All teachers make their best efforts to respond to learners within one business day.
What Should I Do if I Need Help with My Teacher?

How Can I Get a Different Teacher?
